I felt like this book actually impacted me! Whenever I am going trough some physical challenge, such as running when I start feeling tired, I remember him, his story and also the cookie jar and that he always pushed more of himself, that he didnt give up when pain was excruciating and how much he ran without preparation, like when he went to those ultra runs. But at the same time I got a bit bored sometimes when the book covered a lot of details I wasnt personally very interested in, but I do understand he was telling his story and he couldnt just skip parts. Great book to gain some mental thoughness although the advice is quite extreme at times. Dnt put ur health in danger to prove anything to anyone, BUT if u dnt take the advice to the extreme u can improve ur mental strenght!
