Born To Darkness
by Suzanne Brockmann
One of the things I love most about Suzanne Brockmann's books is her lovable, fully realized characters. Although this book had plenty of likeable characters (especially Joseph, who I hope will be getting a book of his own soon), I thought the heroine (Mac) was two-dimensional and almost completely UNlikeable. The hero (Shane) supposedly falls in love with her because she's smart and funny, but to me she was just foul-mouthed and petulant. And I didn't see ANY examples of her humor.
Disappointing in that respect, but still a good read.
