“I’ll become what everyone has thought of me. I’ll be the traitor, the monster, I’ll embrace it for her”
A Demon Prince, jaded souls, multiple magical realms, and a forced proximity with an elven princess—this book had me hooked from the start. I listened to the audiobook and was thoroughly entertained by the narrators' performances, which brought the story to life. The narrative strikes a perfect balance between humor, sarcasm, and adventure, creating an engaging plot that’s as enjoyable as it is well-crafted.
At its core, the story is driven by a compelling plot, but what really elevates it is the gradual romance that develops, complete with some steamy moments. It offers a little bit of everything, blending elements of fantasy, and romance in a way that feels fresh and fun.
Thank you Netgalley, Amanda Aggie & Tantor Media for the eARC and the opportunity to read & review this book.
