WHAT A BOOK.
I am so over the moon with the ending of this trilogy. For a second I thought Alexandra Bracken was about to go all Divergent on me with the ending, but thank goodness she didn't. This book featured some amazing character development, especially highlighting the contrasts between Ruby and Liam's characters - but that only strengthened their arc which I loved. Chubs and Zu reached new highs as well, with Vida being amazing as well. Something I loved was Cole and Ruby's friendship which developed over the course of the novel, I loved watching Ruby's strength improve whilst she was around him, and all the different qualities she got from each of her friends. The action in the book was fast-paced as well and I loved the return to Thurmond as well, such a full circle moment.
This was an amazing end to a trilogy and I'm looking forward to reading Alexandra's next book (and watching The Darkest Minds film!).
