Hidden Valley Road: Inside the Mind of an American Family by Robert Kolker

4.0

It deal with the story of 1950s family in which six children of them diagnosed with schizophrenia.
So we need to find out ' is it nature or nurture(bad parent)' that make galvin brothers be schizophrenia.

'Feel like watching documentary'

• i can't imagine what i gonna feel if i'm one of this family member. It's a tragedy. Most characters try to hide their deep secret.
• second half of the book is quite tough read for me. It's focus more about gene research in that era which is interesting but compared to first half i personally like that better!
• fav character : Donald i guess...
• overall i enjoyed it. The writer put a lot of effort on this book. He interview with Mimi(the mother)before she died and also both of the Galvin sisters.
