Excellent book, I can’t wait to read Rivers’ other works. The last quarter of the book fell a little flat for me though. It felt like the plot was starting to unravel a bit and suddenly Aster was just like…doing stuff offscreen without us knowing about it. Also idk I think I would’ve like more Earth lore and would’ve liked more of a focus on Aster actively trying to provoke an uprising rather than it being unintended. But then again that doesn’t really strike me as something Aster would do. Idk I’m kind of conflicted. RIP Giselle I already know you get so much unessecary hate get behind me!!
