Wow. Just wow. Follow Me to the Yew Tree is a novella that packs an emotional punch. How far would you go to defy fate for love?

Follow Me to the Yew Tree is so beautifully written. I really felt transported to another place and time. The relationship built between Éireann and Elin pulled at my heartstrings. Though it is short, it is both sweet and melancholic. I was drawn in so quickly and read it in one sitting. As someone who has chronic illness, I also really appreciated that we saw the truth of Elin’s ulcerative colitis, but Elin was also much more than his illness. When reading this, you can expect historical fiction in an atmospheric setting, folkloric elements, forced proximity, thoughtful chronic illness representation, and open door romance.

I received this as an ARC, and my review contains my honest thoughts and opinions.
