This has been a challenge to read. Not because of the writing but the content. You think you know something but then learn more and the depths of your own and others’ ignorance (willful or otherwise) is highlighted … critical exercise and not easy. I’m so glad I picked it up and intend to read more of her work as well as several from the recommended reading section at the end of the book.
I took some points off because there were times I felt the timelines and info being shared could have been done in a more structured way (or would have been helpful for me specifically). Dates are always hard for me and I’d have loved to see an accompanying timeline or chart to help me organize all the events.
