i would say it’s just…. okay. the dialogue is pretty cookie cutter for a manga, lots of lets work together to make this place better! yay! the science is cool, love getting a refresher on my biology jargon, but it needs more than that to support an engaging plot. i think the biggest hurdle is that i just don’t care that much about the main character… if you like a wide eyed naive go getter, he’s for you, but i just find it one note and grating
