I don’t know if I liked it enough to read the next book in the series. 

Things I liked:

1. Human Princess who can speak the language of magic users 
2. FMC is realistic- chubby, curious, and not gifted in battle 

Things I didn’t like:

1. The tension between the MMC and the FMC started great, but quickly fizzled 
2. The politics were kind of dizzying because it was unclear whether the people and Lilac’s family would support her. 
3. The elf plot was unnecessary
