Somebody's Daughter by Ashley C. Ford

5.0

This book treads a thin line and it does so masterfully. The author treats her family honestly but tenderly, revealing the bad and the good in quick succession. It really outlines how family can be complicated and messy. I thought the author did a wonderful job of being frank without asking for pity from the reader. She is honest, easy to read, and conversational. It took me less than 24 hrs to read from start to finish, so it’s not too dense despite some very dark subject material.
