ikaminer 's review for:
Death on the Nile
by Agatha Christie
As a lifelong Christie devotee, I wanted to love this novel. But I did not. It took me almost a year to get through, and I restarted it twice in that time. Once you get over the first half the story picks up, but I was always wary of where the story would go. I was able to figure out who the murderer was earlier than I typically do, though I couldn’t make out how it happened. Still, I am often disappointed when I am right about who the killer was, and this taints my perception of the story in general. An entertaining story with an ultimately predictable resolution.
