This is a difficult read but I'm so glad I read the entire story. Informative, heartbreaking, deeply personal in the current regression of women's rights...the messages hit home. There's a lot of wonderful quotes that sum up the reality of what women then and now faced. That freedom is fleeting, not everyone is to be trusted, and male doctors are absolutely fallible creatures.
