For personal reasons, I really wanted to love this book but I just couldn’t connect. I’ll have to give it some time and reread it to try and gain some new perspective but this go around I just couldn’t engage with the plot and struggled to create a vivid image in my mind while I was reading. I think I’m just missing something here so I’ll have to revisit down the road.
