The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
5.0

What a good book! I absolutely loved it. I went in to it expecting to dislike it as the bar was set so incredibly high! Through the beginning I felt like an idiot because I was mildly confused with what was going on. Maggie just kind of throws you into the stories that are the lives of these people. I was slightly intimidated by that, but after about a hundred pages, everything was dandy! Whilst reading The Raven Boys, I realised just how long it had been since I read a good YA book like this. I read Vampire Academy recently, but that, oddly, felt more juvenile. It was great, don't get me wrong. But this one? This one was perfect! I expected the ending to be worse than it was, not gonna lie. I was relieved to say the least.
