I liked the book, it is an easy, fun read.
But I also have a couple of things I didn’t like so much. It all felt a little rushed, which makes sense considering the tropes of the book, but I still would have wished for a more meaningful connection. I didn’t really notice the switch from like to love and I also don’t think that they would stay together after the book.
I also would have wished them to talk a little bit more about their traumas. In both Belle and Devon it was the main reason for their flaws but then they never actually talked about them or worked on them.
I still give it a 3/5 because I read a lot of the authors other books and so I knew what I was expecting and I wasn’t disappointed at all. As I said at the top, it was an easy, fun read and everyone who likes those kind of books will probably like this one too, but please always consider trigger warnings.
