I liked this even more than the first. Sure, I wanted to throttle Cooper even more this time around because he’s somehow managed to get even more dense, but Park never letting him succeed in his attempts to fumble him is endearing. I also liked the case more than book one’s. I’m always partial to the investigator having personal ties to the case.
