midnighthanami 's review for:
The Serial Killer's Wife
by Alice Hunter
it wasn't really my taste, far too much dwelling on police visits and not much action. It mostly consisted of beths pov and little info until chapter 91. I would have liked to hear more from toms pov and his mindset, we got it in a few of his pov's but i wanted more of that and less padding of beths daily life.
The last pages were the best of the book. A nice but slightly predictable twist was fun to read considering most of the 'twists' were predictable. Nonetheless, i really enjoy the pov style and its a quick read with the short chapters.
some quotes i liked :
"if you can't change it, let it go. Otherwise you'll be consumed by worry."
"holding onto secrets, whatever your intentions, is damaging..."
