Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Predators and Prey by Doug Petrie, Steven S. DeKnight, Drew Z. Greenberg, Jane Espenson, Joss Whedon, Jim Krueger

5.0

Of all the Buffy graphic novel arcs, this one's the Buffiest.

It's effectively just a solid callback to the series, when there were monster-of-the-week plots that only sort of advanced the plot but ended up having some fun along the way. In this case, we get possessed dolls and Harmony's reality show and we get Dawn back to normal and it's just fun and quick and straightforward.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. That the series has been so able to shift between gears is a really solid point in its favor. Really glad I revisited this series.
