Honestly, I may as well give this 5 stars but I'm trying really hard to reserve those for the books that really floor me!

I enjoyed this story so much, as it keeps you guessing! You never know who is who and whether or not someone is watching you... This story also shows that a well laid plan almost always works out better than an impulsive one. I thought I knew the twist at the end until the twist kept twisting. I also loved that the MMC was a writer there were tons of beautiful quotes and meaning statements that really hit home for me, especially in my relationships - current and past.

I love any story where the setting is someone remote and the likelihood of being able to leave right away if in danger is a legit fear of mine! I can't wait until I can build my own bunker! Won't catch me slipping! Lol I would definitely suggest this story, a lot like others have and will! It's a great little story that touches on marriage, death, grief, guilt, infidelity, the hardships of marriage, and just being a good human in the first place overall. Such a fun read!
