This book almost gave me whiplash with the back and forth. One moment everyone is playing the game and then they are not and the game has not yet started.  Blake lived in such denial that I could not believe. Spending money to go participate in a game to win money is like going to Las Vegas and gambling with your rent money or mortgage money in the hope of winning more money. I have a hard time believing that Angeline was as clueless as she was. This book definitely could have been shorten by a couple of hours.
