Filthy Lies by Serena Akeroyd

I’ve been waiting for this book for so long and it absolutely delivered. I always love to read about keyboard pianists. Characters that have mastered tech but not people. Conor and Star are complete equals in prowess, yet balanced each other out in such a beautiful way.
Conor is such a cinnamon roll when it comes to Star. I love how she was such an alpha heroine yet let him care for her. This is action packed, filled with espionage, and political intrigue. The two best hackers in the world are falling in love while saving it. I also enjoyed how they both hold space for each other’s sexual trauma. The steam really felt healing and crescendos.
This does end in a cliffhanger. However, the next book comes out next week. I’m salivating for the conclusion after that cliffhanger
