This was so bonkers, but I ate it up! I read this in one sitting. Reading Freida McFadden's stories is like watching a slightly cringe and binge-worthy TV drama -- like Desperate Housewives or Manifest -- none of it is realistic, but you are guaranteed to be entertained. Freida McFadden is an expert in writing fast-paced stories with twists and turns that have you on the edge of your seat. She is a reliable author who seems to deliver countless bangers---The Housemaid got me back into reading! After reading The Teacher, I expect to be open to reading more of her books in the future. I will note though, The Teacher literally was disgusting at times. I was horrified at what I was reading. So please check trigger warnings.
