i think the format of this is just not for me... i tried listening to the audiobook and the full cast is sort of interesting, but also just got confusing because i couldn't tell anyone apart and they didn't always say the name of the character before speaking
i think the format was unique, being told in a series of interviews of the band members but that's exactly what it was - telling everything and not showing anything. it was just boring.
i just couldn't get into it. didn't really care about any of the characters either
