Just beautiful writing - how can you not love Alessa & Dante! The perfect mixture of Juliette Ferrars and the found family trope from Shatter Me, the tension between Alessa and Dante as a bodyguard forbidden romance like from From Blood and Ash, and all the Italian (omg the food!) vibes from Kingdom of The Wicked.
