This was such a fun small-town romance! I loved being back in Friendship, Rhode Island, with its quirky cast of characters, some of whom we met in In a Jam. The grumpy sunshine dynamic between the two leads was great, and their banter kept me hooked the whole time.
One thing I really loved was how competent Beckett is. There’s something so swoon-worthy about a guy who just knows how to take care of everything, and that personality trait shined here. The small touch of mystery added a nice layer to the story without taking away from the romance. Overall, this was an enjoyable, cozy read, and I’ll definitely be picking up the next books in this series!
