Okay this was a winner for me. It was Nordic Noir with a ghostly haze. Not as gruesome or as violent as some of the recent Nordic Noir I've sampled. Amazing and eery setting on the island of Öland in the Baltic Sea. Even though it was 90 degrees out he had me pulling up the covers! I'm going to read his others.
