One Small Thing by Erin Watt
5.0

This book literally sucked me in from the very first page and I loved the story so much!! I’ve had it since January and I’m only just reading it now and it’s September.
First I would love to say that I abso-fuckin’-lutely adore Chase and I wouldn’t want him to be anyone but himself. I really love Beth because she and I are pretty alike. I really loved that Beth wouldn’t give up on Chase and I always knew that Jeff was hiding something but I didn’t see that coming until the end of the book.
Jeff really needs to sort out his issues. Back to Chase… he is such a loveable character and I wish he were real so I could make him mine. Chase, of course, has issues but everyone does and like everyone else he had to work through them and he did in the end and Beth worked through her own issues too and I loved that ending too, I found this book to be really inspirational because it reminded me that we always have to look at the little things in life that get us through the day and bring us joy.
I really hated Jeff’s character with every fiber of my being, he was arrogant, a bully, a manipulative and possessive jerk and he is demeaning to women and he deserved more than he had gotten but I understand Beth’s choice.
I really would love it if this book was to be adapted into a movie and I will be giving this book a far star rating because I love it so much and will read it over and over again.
