First thing that came to my mind while listening to Smoke and Mirrors: this book is very similar to Susan Stroker's book.
The story itself is OK. I do not hate it nor love it. It is entertaining but the lenght is too long. Miss Rowe taking her time building the chemistry for her characters. I wish she cut the push and pull and adding more twist into the action.
Overall, this is OK read.
