The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

4.0

I was reading chick lit for the past few months and then there was this sudden feeling to read something moving. And I came across this one.

I love this book. I simply love the first-person narration. I love Charlie and his innocence. I love him for not doing things he's supposed to do. And for doing things he's supposed to do. (This doesn't make sense. I know that. But I guess it does make sense for people who read the book.)

Extroverts think its a piece of cake to be a wallflower. But nobody knows until they actually have to be a wallflower. Everyone has been a wallflower, some time or the other. But some of us have to do it on a daily basis.

I love this book. I'm glad I read this. And no, I won't watch the movie until I recover. Maybe later, maybe never.
