My gosh this book was a pain to finish. This is the 2nd book I've read by this author (the 1st was Un Lun Dun) and I really think it's cool how he can make up these extravagant worlds which have so much thinking about them.  For this book, I have to say I
was disappointed that Lin was gone the second part of the novel. I wouldn't have been that upset if she took over the 2nd half rather than Isaac,  especially since its like she has a more clear antagonist character in her side of the story. Isaac couldve been a hostage and Lin couldve thought him dead? Or something? And then Yag's... crime couldve hit her especially hard, since shes an sa survivor
I probably won't read the sequel, if there is one, since I think this book is soo soon long but I really enjoyed learning about the bureaucracy of this world
