I think I'm turning into a dog, she said to her husband when he arrived home after a week away for work. He laughed and she didn't.

When I first heard about this in Noelle's channel I was like "no, there is just no way that I'll be able to enjoy that book, but I am damn curious about what's going to happen." But then... holy shit. Some freaking miracle happened and then we're on a roll. I honestly did not want to put it down. It's well-written and I loved knowing how mother thinks.

I'm not a mother, but I loved hearing about how it's driving her off the walls. She talked about her career. About being a wife. AND YES SHE DID SCREAM FUCK THE PATRIARCHY.

I don't know if I have the right words to describe this book, but I am definitely recommending you this book if you need a reminder why you should and should not have children. Lol. But seriously, it would give you a better appreciation of your mother and the women in your life.

I am definitely reading this again if I ever convince myself to have kids. I think I would get a better enjoyment out of it.

Why I didn't rate this five stars?
This is a relatively short book. I honestly think that the second half could have been edited better. But it was really, really great.

Recommendation:
If you're looking for something different and thought-provoking while still being able to enjoy the fiction of it all, then please, do pick this up.
