Marry Me Mad by Katy Regnery

5.0

I heart Cort!!

I can't even tell you how many feels I got from reading the book. This second chance love story that will have you holding your had over your heart and sighing out loud.

After breaking up with her cheating manipulative boyfriend, Mad Rousseau decides to break her prim and proper mold and go to a bar on the other side of town and let loose. She ends up at a bar where Cortlandt Ambler is playing. He is the boy who broke her twin's heart when they were a young 17 years old. An act she and her twin never forgot about. She also never forgot the way she felt about him. A teenage crush killed by him dating and breaking her twin's heart. After Mad takes one too many pity party shots, Cort ends up taking care of her.

Cort had my heart from the time he saved Mad in the bar and told her that "Baby, you're music." This guy is definitely at the top of my book boyfriend list. He was strong, honest, loving but also a bit vulnerable. He was the perfect match for Mad who was at times, loyal to a fault. I loved seeing her start to be her true self. Turning from prim and proper to relaxed and sexy. She even got a little dirty there.

I got so many feels from this book. I hope I see Cort and Mad in the other books in this series.
