Little Mushroom: Judgment Day by Shisi

Brilliantly written. The story is a study of humanity. What characteristics make humans "human"? Can humans be forced to do "inhuman" acts long enough to lose their humanity? Surprisingly, the perspective Shisi chose to answer this question is through a mushroom's eyes. I think the best way to get into Shisi's story is to not know too much about it, except maybe to expect a cruel apocalyptic environment and an intense plot, and if you need to know if there's a happy ending:
