This was just an okay read for us. We loved Izzie she was a character who overall was bold beautiful and a woman not afraid to express her feelings and is a tell it like it is kind of girl. Loved that she wasn't afraid to fight for what she wanted. Her chemistry and connection with Sir Thomas was undeniable.
Sir Thomas lived up to his name great warrior, he is more than meets the eye under the armor he wears he is not as unfeeling as people seem to think he is.
Overall the story was heartfelt a couple doomed from the beginning as there are expectations to be met. A warrior who longs for a woman whom his heart longs for yet says he is incapable of love and fidelity. Sir Thomas is a character you either dislike or love but, for us, we weren't a fan as we despise men who toy with other's feelings. We will say that we love men who are worthy of redeeming themselves and learn that sometimes love is worth fighting for.
We enjoyed this series and its characters.
