Welcome back to Amber Ridge, Montana.

Unraveled is Sky & Becket’s story…and takes place shortly after Unafraid (the first book in the series).

Both Sky & Becket have ‘moved’ back home…

Becket is a retired Navy SEAL & is now the fire chief for Amber Ridge. It gives him the adrenaline rush…plus he’s helping to keep his community safe.

Sky moved back home from Wyoming…and is contemplating the ‘death’ of her neighbor—Becket. He’s put in security cameras that cover various aspects of the neighborhood…including her front yard…she finds it ‘creepy’. She tries to put up a fence…he ‘gloats’ that she put in the wrong permit request & the job is delayed.

Becket has his reasons…there’s been a string of break-ins…and he’s trying to ‘protect’ his neighbors…going a little overboard…but that’s the Navy SEAL in him.

Needless to say, they’re not the ‘best of neighbors’.

But…that kinda ‘changes’, when Sky realizes that her parents are trying to fix her up with a member of their church…someone she grew up with…but can’t stand to be around. None of them seem to take ‘no’ as an answer.

So…Sky’s “answer”…she’s dating…and her boyfriend? None, other than her ‘obnoxious’ neighbor: Becket Hayes.

Needless to say…feelings start to emerge.

But then so does the danger…there are the break-ins…a string of random fires being set around town…then a couple of ‘accidents’ involving Sky.

Can they figure out who’s behind everything? Before their luck runs out?

The answers are in the pages of Unraveled. I was totally taken by surprise by the ‘unveiling’ of both ‘baddies’…and I loved the banter between not only Sky & Becket; but Becket & his siblings as well.

Five out of five stars & I can’t wait for Clara & Holden’s story coming out this summer. Highly recommend this series.
