Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
Thanks to NetGalley & Orbit Books for the copy in exchange for an honest review. Sadly, I DNF'ed at 30% of the way through.
I really liked the first one, but this one wasn't as exciting with the lack of bone magic. Which makes sense, considering they kill people...but still. The pacing was much slower for sure too.
I also didn't like the Jovis x Lin romance that was evidently building. I'm glad the author was building it instead of rushing into it but I just couldn't see the chemistry there...
