I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm so glad I chose it for my Christmas read. While it isn't a life-changing story, it is a story of hope and perseverance. It had a lovely cast of characters and a wonderful optimism that boosted my Christmas mood. On some level, I didn't want it to end because I enjoyed the characters and the setting so much.
