apart from the lacklustre nature of the writing behind the protagonist, i was slightly uncomfortable by the way some things were written. i don't mean in a 'oh, the possibility of this dystopia occurring makes me so unsettled, truly the sign of a great writer!' but rather in a 'this author does not sound like a good person.' and i was right! rapist and racist, also a part of the imperialist system that his purported opposition was directed against. also, trying to utilise marxist principles to create an anti-proletariat society? nice try!
