What Lies Between Us by John Marrs

5.0

This psychological thriller is really clever in the way that it
is written & full of more twists than I could count! I
thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
I love the chapter style, how it jumps between times &
story narrator. It makes you want to keep turning the pages
to piece the story together.
Just when you think you're figuring things out there comes
a shocking, completely unexpected twist to keep you on
vour toes!
What Lies Between Us has a really eerie, chilling feel to it
and it felt like an original story, unlike anything I have read
before.
At first I sympathised for Maggie and then quickly I didn't
when I found out more, then I switched to sympathising for
Nina & then after discovering more I no longer did.
It was a twisty, turny journey. It felt like my brain had been
in a mixer trying to comprehend the depth of the lies that
were told in this story! I'll definitely be checking out more
of John Marrs' books!
