Holy Smokes!
Grumpy sunshine hits different here for sure, but my favorite thing about this is the way they’re SO GOOD for each other. Like honestly, I think the primary trope here should be “soulmate” or “missing piece” because while their personalities are grumpy sunshine, they are quite literally the thing they are missing from themselves for each other.
She helps him see he doesn’t have to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. He helps her see her potential and take a chance on her dreams again, no matter how risky or how badly she’s been burnt before. They’re each other’s moral support when most needed and it’s just. So. HEALTHY.
Cute relationship stuff aside, this book was also a solid 5/5 all around; to include spice rating. Some of the kinks include toy play and oral stimulation/reciprocation.
Solid novel, 100% would reread.
