One Good Reason by Julie Johnson

Audible freebie. Writing is good and there’s an actual plot which feels rare for a romance. It’s definitely still a romance with billionaire silliness and that alpha male / controlling thing that I’ll never quite understand. This guy is very “you are mine” but also talks like he’s a character in The Great Gatsby. Curious.

The female protagonist is a clever hacker type and the author didn’t completely screw up her griefy/traumatic backstory. There were some dumb healing/move on comments from other characters, but it didn’t completely piss off this widow. YMMV.
