Okay, I weirdly loved this book! Definitely top 3 on the kindle unlimited books I’ve read so far! It’s hot and sensual and if you don’t think too much while reading it, it’s a good story! It’s a fictional, paranormal romance, so I don’t romanticize the events that happen throughout the book, but some people do. If you’re one of the people who assume fictional book themes are real and believe that authors romanticize abuse then this is not for you (which isn’t bad at all!!)
It does have some thematic moments that could be trigger warnings: so be prepared for dream-like rape sequence, verbal abuse, over-protective power plays, and kidnapping. But please remember that this is a paranormal romance with angels and vampires and is not real. Plus, it’s a KU book and everything on adult KU is wiiild.
