The series has been in my tbr for how long i don't know but it feels like a right time to pick it up so i did. Starts off with debauchery, secrets, hurt, confront, trust issues, slavery and captive. It feels like torn between for Auren. One moment, she lives in her gilded cage. Next, she got captive but traded one cage for another. After being lived in cage for 10 years, she doesn't know what it feels like to be in outside world. Auren is starting to get a taste of whats beyond the cage. Her journey to know what happening to others. There are ups and downs in the plot. Some sadness. I felt everything what Auren felt. Almost connected to the character. I cried when she cried, i laughed when she laughed, i raged when she raged. Literally, everything.
But I'm more intrigued to know about Fourth Kingdom and Commander Rip 'cause who could not? More about her powers, fae, and Midas. So i will probably continue with Glint...
