Temptation
by Ivy Smoak
3 stars. I'll be honest, this book was not well written. The main character thinks one thing and then immediately changes her mind. There is no build up. It had insta lust on multiple sides. Penny bumps into a guy in a coffee shop and he spills coffee on her. The guy turns out to be her professor, but there is more to Professor Hunter than she knows. Penny is overall pretty unlikeable. She claims to not be a rule breaker and one who likes to stay in on Saturdays, but she ends up almost hooking up with one guy at a frat party. She tells him to stop and ends up having to knee him in the groin and then she later just blames herself for what happens. She then ends up becoming friends with that guy and clearly leading him on when she is mad at Professor Hunter. She sleeps with Professor Hunter after only really talking to him a few times.
At the same time, this book was a smutty good time and a fast, easy read that I was looking for so I can't give it fewer stars than that cause it did suck me in and I finished it in a few hours.
