The Mystery of Three Quarters by Sophie Hannah

4.0

The Mystery of Three Quarters is the third book in the Sophie Hannah series featuring Agatha Christie’s legendary sleuth, Hercule Poirot, and it is the selection of the month for #readingallofagatha on Instagram.

While I have enjoyed the first two books of this series, I found this third book to be even more engaging! It came across to me truly Christie-esque. The book opens in a manner that really grabs the reader’s attention, with multiple people showing up at Poirot’s door, chastising him for letters they’ve received from him accusing them of a murder they didn’t commit. And I found that it invoked strong feelings in me, on behalf of Poirot. I mean really, how dare these people go off on my favorite sleuth?!
