The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde

5.0

I have read very mixed reviews about this book. So I went into it cautiously, and. . .
I think it is terrific! The humor is brilliant, its like a hitchiker's guide to the galaxy, but through literature instead. It's funny, it references classics, and its a bibliophiles place to go away and relax for a while. No, its not the next Jane Eyre, but did it ever claim to be? It is its own book, its contemporary and hilarious. A great read, and I look forward to "getting lost in a good book" as I continue the series!
