Every Little Thing in the World by Nina de Gramont

4.0

This book presents a complicated issue from the perspective of one teenage girl. Her voice rings true; the character was well developed and was completely believable. I did find myself a little sad at the end, not necessarily because of the decision she makes but rather by how she characterizes it. Perhaps that's because I'm a parent...or because I have the luxury of more years' life experience and a little more perspective. I found myself wondering what kind of life this character would have as an adult, and it seems to me that is the mark of a good, well written book.
