QUICK REVIEW:
I remember why I don't consume a ton of thrillers - they tend to be pretty toxic. BUT the gasp-worthy tea spilled in this classic is top-notch.
I also listened at 1.7x speed, so maybe it felt even more heart pounding.

The old fashion patriarchy vibes tend to wear on me, I tend to feel that in time-period pieces. Especially when certain lines don’t age well.

Recommended:
- If you like counting all the red flags.
- If you want an “it's complicated” story about loyalty.
- If want to watch the movie /NETFLIX adaptation, but you want to see if the book is better.
