Struggling with how to rate/review this because I don't want other's hype and opinions to impact my feelings on this. This is objectively a really good book. The thing about Taylor Jenkins Reid's books is that the development of each character is seriously perfection. Each character is so well fleshed out and complex and I just love reading each of their individual stories. This story was special because the dynamic between each band member and their kind of revolution around Daisy and Billy was so interesting. And obviously Daisy and Billy's dynamic is so strained but also sooooo good. I absolutely love yearning and angst in a love story and this definitely had that to the extreme.

The biggest struggle I had in enjoying this is obviously that Billy is married throughout this whole thing. It's a story about a rock band back in the day so there will clearly be some wild shit but I just absolutely despise cheating plots and struggled a lot with that part of this story. Especially because Camilla was such a lovely person and wonderful friend. It was hard to read, but I know that this author loves to write hard to read stories. I have mixed feelings on this one for sure, but I know most people would and will love it.
